Rítmica San Pedro Club Shines at the Eastern Precopa First Phase
The Rítmica San Pedro Club put on a stellar performance at the Eastern Precopa First Phase held in Armilla, Granada. The youth team bagged a magnificent silver medal, while junior gymnast Lucía Giménez secured a seventh place in the individual category.
Over 900 Gymnasts Participate in the Tournament
The tournament saw participation from over 900 gymnasts from the provinces of Granada, Málaga, Almería, and Jaén. The event took place at the Ciudad Deportiva of the Diputación de Granada in Armilla, hosting the Eastern Sector of Rhythmic Gymnastics of the Precopa and Andalusian Cup.
Competition Across Various Categories
The competition was held across various categories including prebenjamin, benjamin, alevin, infant, cadet, and youth; in individual, team, and group modalities. The Rítmica San Pedro Club participated in both the youth group and individual junior categories with Lucía Giménez.
Impressive Results Reflect Club’s Progress
The results were highly satisfactory, reflecting the progress of both the club and the girls. The youth team secured an excellent second position and a silver medal with a score of 13.900 among the 14 competing teams. The championship was won by Málaga, with the third place taken by the Cúllar Vega Club from Granada.
Lucía Giménez Secures Seventh Place in Individual Junior Category
In the individual junior competition, Lucía Giménez secured a seventh place and a diploma with a score of 13.800 for her mace exercise among 14 participants. This marks a successful participation of the San Pedro Alcántara club in this Eastern Precopa First Phase.
