San Pedro Alcántara to Get New Bus Station
The need for a bus station in San Pedro Alcántara is becoming more and more pressing. Deputy Mayor Javier García has recently disclosed that an agreement with the Junta de Andalucía for the construction of a new transport interchange is on the verge of being signed. This means that the construction project will be put out to tender before the year ends, with the budget exceeding one million euros.
Details of the Upcoming Transport Interchange
The proposed project includes the construction of six covered bays for bus parking, a transit stop, and a parking area equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, a building with a passenger lounge, a ticket office, public restrooms, and storage facilities is also part of the plan. This comprehensive project aims to cater to the growing transportation needs of the city and provide a comfortable and convenient experience for commuters.
