The possibly harmful cat was brought into Spain from Russia and was classified as a domestic cat. It managed to escape from a residence about 20 kilometers away, as reported by the police.

The animal's foreign owner returned to his home country 18 months ago, leaving the animal in the care of a friend. However, the friend has recently been charged by authorities for an alleged act of animal abuse.
