Julian Marley and Pablo López Join Starlite Occident Festival Lineup in Marbella
Julian Marley and Pablo López have been added to the lineup of the Starlite Occident Festival in Marbella. The festival’s 13th edition has incorporated two new performances for the upcoming summer. On one hand, Málaga’s own Pablo López will return to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his musical career. On the other hand, Julian “Ju-Ju” Marley will be performing for the first time on the stage of the Nagüeles Quarry. Two new concerts are now part of the festival’s lineup for the upcoming summer in Marbella.
Pablo López Returns to Starlite Occident with His Piano
Following his success in previous editions, the last one being last year with two concerts, Pablo López will return with his piano to the stage of the Nagüeles Quarry. It will be on Saturday, July 20th when his music can be enjoyed again, celebrating his tenth anniversary in the music industry. Known for his immensely successful discography with songs like “El Patio”, “Tu enemigo”, “El Mundo” or “La niña de la linterna”, the Málaga native who plays the piano with such sensitivity, will return to Starlite Occident.
Julian Marley, Known as “Ju-Ju Marley”, Joins the Lineup
The other addition to the lineup that has been confirmed is Julian Marley, known as “Ju-Ju Marley”, along with his band “The Uprising” on Thursday, July 11th. Just like his father (Bob Marley), the producer, songwriter, and singer has become one of the current reggae references. From a very young age, he delved into the world of music with his brothers, until in 1996 he released his first solo album “Lion in the Morning”. Julian Marley lands at Starlite Occident to present live his album “Colors of Royal”, awarded at the 2024 Grammy’s and full of songs that promote spirituality, goodwill, and social justice.
