Five Men Arrested in Connection with Alleged Group Sexual Assault
Five men have been apprehended by the National Police on the Costa del Sol in relation to an alleged group sexual assault on a 26-year-old woman. The incident, which is believed to have involved the use of a chemical agent to subdue the victim, occurred on Tuesday, 5th March.
Incident Occurred in a Marbella Hotel
The assault reportedly took place in a Marbella hotel, where the suspects are alleged to have brought the young woman with the intention of abusing her. This information was provided by sources consulted by SUR.
Victim Taken to Hospital, Suspects Detained for Questioning
After a police complaint was lodged, the victim was transported to the Costa del Sol hospital in Marbella. This hospital is known for its pioneering protocol in detecting such cases. The suspects, aged between 19 and 32, were taken into custody. Three of them are German nationals, while the other two are Serbian.
Investigation Focuses on Degree of Participation
The investigation is currently centered on determining the level of involvement of each suspect. The National Police are also awaiting test results to confirm if a chemical agent was indeed used to coerce the victim.
Suspects Handed Over to Marbella Court
