Driver Arrested at Costa del Sol Petrol Station for Drug Possession
In a recent incident on the Costa del Sol, police apprehended the driver of a vehicle at a petrol station. The arrest was made after the discovery of 11 kilograms of hashish concealed in a bag in the vehicle’s boot.
Guardia Civil Patrol’s Vigilance Leads to Arrest
The arrest was made by a Guardia Civil patrol in the vicinity of the motorway service station on the AP-7. The vehicle had drawn the attention of the officers, leading to the stop and subsequent search.
Large Quantity of Hashish Found in Vehicle’s Boot
Upon searching the vehicle, officers found a large bag containing 110 tablets of hashish in the boot. The driver, a 26-year-old male, was immediately identified and taken into custody.
Driver Remanded in Custody After Court Appearance
Following his arrest, the driver was presented before a judge at the Fuengirola magistrate’s court. He has since been remanded in custody pending further investigation into the matter.
