Two Men Arrested for Marbella Restaurant Shooting
In a recent development, two individuals have been apprehended by the National Police for their alleged involvement in a shooting incident at a Marbella restaurant. The incident, which occurred last month, saw the restaurant being sprayed with a minimum of 15 bullets. The arrests were made following the incident that took place in broad daylight on 11th March at a Marbella eatery. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.
Details of the Incident
According to the police, the suspects arrived at the scene on a motorbike. One of them dismounted from the vehicle and reportedly fired at least 15 shots at the restaurant’s window. The courts have since ordered both suspects to be held in custody. Reports suggest that the two individuals are connected to organised crime.
Police Raids and Seizures
In connection with the case, police conducted raids on four residences in Marbella and Estepona. During these operations, they seized 31,190 euros in cash, a large machete, and a revolver.
Investigation Leads to Arrests
Investigators were able to identify the motorbike used in the drive-by shooting through a bent registration plate. This led them to the address where the suspects were hiding. The two individuals were subsequently arrested on 25th March.
