The Spanish organization offers sustainable solutions to support individuals and communities facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion, both within Spain and internationally.
The establishment provides a 1,800 square meter space and currently offers activities, including workshops on art and culture as well as language classes.
This year, 175 individuals in the town received palliative home care services from the foundation, and the town hall has now pledged to provide 20,000 euros in funding.
The charity's hotline and social meetings will be available throughout July and August, despite the temporary closure of the activity centre in San Pedro until September.
The Elena Gaite Foundation was founded with the aim of supporting charitable projects that benefit a variety of social organizations and NGOs, including the Cudeca Foundation, Debra Piel de Mariposa (butterfly skin children), and Avoi child cancer charity.
