Age Concern Marbella Boosts Safety Measures with New Defibrillator
In a bid to enhance the safety of its social centre users in San Pedro Alcántara, Age Concern Marbella has installed a new defibrillator. This life-saving device was made possible through the generous support of the International Rotary Club Guadalmina and Blevins Franks financial advisers.
Charity President Receives New Device
The new device was handed over to Carol Woolnoth, the charity’s president, last week. The presentation was made by Pamela Lake, a member of the Rotary Club, and James Stirling, a representative from Blevins Franks. Stirling is set to visit the social centre again on 6 November at 4pm to provide free financial advice to the organisation’s users.
Volunteers Undergo Comprehensive Training
Following the installation of the defibrillator, a team of volunteers participated in an extensive training course. This was to ensure they are fully equipped to use the new device. The president expressed her gratitude for the new equipment and the training provided.
Client Safety is Paramount
Steve Marshall, a representative from Age Concern, emphasized the importance of client safety. He stated that the new equipment, now located in their widely used centre in San Pedro, is a testament to their commitment to ensuring the safety of their clients.
