50,000 Euro Champagne Bottle Purchased in Marbella: The Mystery Buyer Revealed
The identity of the individual who splurged 50,000 euros on a bottle of champagne at the Momento nightclub and restaurant in Marbella has been revealed. The buyer was not a millionaire, footballer, or social media influencer as speculated, but a well-known Mexican musician, Christian Nodal.
Christian Nodal: The Man Behind the Extravagant Purchase
Christian Nodal, a 24-year-old Mexican musician, led a group of six people in consuming the Methuselah bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne Brut Luminous Phantom. This six-litre bottle, equivalent to eight standard bottles, is a limited edition product from the French winery. Nodal, with three albums under his belt, has already won five Latin Grammys and eight Latin Billboard awards. He is known for creating ‘mariacheño’, a fusion of music styles, and has collaborated with artists like Tini Stoessel, Camilo, Ricky Martin, and David Bisbal.
Nodal’s Visit to Marbella: A Performance and a Celebration
Nodal’s visit to Marbella was due to his performance at Starlite Occidente on 13 July. After his show, he was escorted to a reserved area at Momento, where he requested the expensive bottle of champagne. The venue, respecting his privacy, did not initially disclose his identity. Many musicians are known to visit this nightclub after performing at the Nagüeles quarry, as it is one of the few places in the area with a restaurant open until around five in the morning.
Momento: A Hub for Electronic Music and Late-Night Dining
Momento, owned by the Mosh group and located in the heart of Marbella’s Golden Mile, has gained international recognition for its commitment to electronic music. Since its opening in 2018, it has hosted some of the world’s best DJs. The venue also offers a significant gastronomic experience with non-stop cuisine available from opening until 5am.
Grupo Mosh: The Company Behind Momento
The Marbella-based company Grupo Mosh, founded in 2016, currently owns five restaurants and collaborates on a sixth with Grupo Dani García and the global fashion brand Dolce&Gabbana.
