Regardless of their location globally, most Americans never miss celebrating Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. This was precisely the case for the American International Club Marbella, who celebrated the American national holiday on 23 November. The group gathered at Café Yanx in Puerto Banús, with the event taking place at the Occidental Hotel.
The celebration extended beyond the meal, with Alfonso Hervás’s custom-made cards bringing joy to many, and Raquel Márquez’s photography and videography capturing the festive atmosphere of the day. The American International Club Marbella members enjoyed Thanksgiving 2023.
“Sue Seabury’s steadfast commitment, Milagros Hoffenmeir’s invaluable assistance, and the organization by club president Lucca Movaldi were crucial to the success of this celebration,” stated the American International Club Marbella. They further expressed their gratitude to guests who traveled from far-off places and particularly to Dave and his outstanding team from Café Yanx, whose contributions enhanced the grandeur of the celebration.
Club president Lucca Movaldi stated, “Thanksgiving is more than just a celebration; it’s a time to reflect and appreciate the blessings we have. Your dedication and unity during these uncertain times have been a beacon of hope. We aim to continue nurturing this friendship, promoting diversity, respect, and collaboration among cultures.”
