Tragic End for 25-Year-Old Man in Marbella
A 25-year-old man tragically lost his life after a fall from a significant height in the early hours of Thursday morning. The incident occurred at the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella, where the man was admitted in a critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Fleeing from Police at Santa Teresa Public School
The young man was reportedly attempting to evade police officers at the Santa Teresa public school when he noticed their presence. This information was provided by sources who were consulted by SUR. The incident took place around 4.45am on Thursday 23 January.
Alarm Triggers Police Response
The Local Police force was alerted to the situation when the school’s security company reported an alarm going off in the building. Upon arrival, officers noticed flickering lights inside the building, similar to those of a torch, and spotted an individual dressed in black on the first floor, as per municipal sources.
Desperate Escape Attempt Ends in Tragedy
Upon realizing the police were on the scene, the suspect attempted to find an alternative escape route. It appears he tried to descend using a lamp fitting, which unfortunately came loose, resulting in the young man’s fall.
Discovery of Suspect and Immediate Medical Response
Officers discovered the young man, originally from Kazakhstan, lying on the ground next to the shattered glass from the light and a bag allegedly containing two of the centre’s computers. The police patrol promptly called for an ambulance, which rushed the young man to the hospital.
Critical Condition Leads to Tragic Death
Upon arrival at the hospital, the young man was in a “critical” condition due to a traumatic brain injury. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he sadly passed away on Friday afternoon, according to health sources.
