20-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Puerto Banús Shooting
A 20-year-old man is currently in a critical condition at the Hospital Clínico Universitario following a shooting incident in Puerto Banús. The unfortunate event occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 16 March. According to sources, the victim was outside a bar when the incident happened, with several vehicles reportedly involved. The injured man was rushed to the Hospital Clínico in Malaga, where the traumatology team assessed his condition and decided against immediate surgery for his gunshot wounds.
Recent Shootings in Marbella
This incident marks the second shooting in Marbella in the past week and the fourth in the last month. However, none of these incidents have resulted in fatalities. On Monday, 11 March, two individuals on a motorbike fired several shots in the middle of a street in Nueva Andalucía. Five bullets hit a restaurant window, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Previous Shooting Incidents
A month prior, another young man was injured after being shot twice on a street in Marbella. The incident occurred shortly after 11pm on Saturday, 10 February, in the area of Nueva Andalucía. The victim, of Nordic origin, was shot once in the arm and once in the leg. He was stabilized and transported to the Costa del Sol Hospital. Witnesses reported that two individuals exited a car, one of whom shot the victim before they both fled in the same vehicle.
Unconfirmed Shooting Incident
Only two days after the aforementioned incident, there was another reported shooting in the same street. Local residents contacted emergency services after allegedly hearing gunshots. However, no cartridge cases were found at the scene, leaving the validity of the reported shooting unconfirmed.
