Dolce & Gabbana Brings Mediterranean Blue Prints to La Cabane in Marbella
Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has decided to bring its unique style to four exclusive beach clubs in Europe this summer. One of these is the iconic La Cabane in Marbella, founded in 1965. The city’s name now joins other luxury tourist destinations such as Capri, Taormina, and Saint Tropez.
D&G’s Summer 2023 Style at Europe’s Most Exclusive Beach Clubs
Dolce & Gabbana aims to infuse its style into the summer of 2023 by choosing the most exclusive beach clubs in Europe’s most luxurious destinations. One of these is, unsurprisingly, Marbella and the iconic La Cabane, the beach club of Los Monteros, which is experiencing a revival while the hotel undergoes a comprehensive renovation. The new decor features the iconic Mediterranean Blue print from the Italian brand.
Pop-Up Shop and Dolci Room at La Cabane
The beach club also features a pop-up shop with the same creative design, and the restaurant boasts the Dolci Room, a gastronomic space for dessert enjoyment with Carretto Siciliano tapestries. The Dolci Room at La Cabane features Carretto Siciliano prints. Here, one can taste one of the best sellers, the DG Logo Bag in various flavors (vanilla, passion fruit and mango, and pistachio), along with other desserts inspired by the brand, such as the yogurt and raspberry rose and the lemon.
Dolce & Gabbana’s Other Beach Club Ventures
This is one of Dolce & Gabbana’s ventures, which also includes the Casa Amor beach club in Saint Tropez (France), the Palazzo di San Domenico in Taormina (Italy), and the Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri (Italy).
La Cabane’s New Era with Prestigious Decor and Gastronomic Transformation
However, this prestigious decor is just one of the changes in La Cabane’s new era. Dani García leads the gastronomic transformation, while Albert Beniflah (Mosh Group), considered the new king of Marbella’s party scene, brings a new leisure and entertainment proposal. The chef has drawn inspiration from the beauty of majolica ceramics, typical of southern Italy, to create a menu with flavors from the transalpine country.
Changes Under New Ownership and Comprehensive Renovation
All these changes come under the new ownership of the Los Monteros Hotel by the Swiss fund Bain Capital and Stoneweg. They purchased the establishment in early 2022 and have now closed it for a comprehensive renovation. In the meantime, the La Cabane beach club, dating back to 1965, has reopened its doors with Dolce & Gabbana’s exclusive decor, almost unique in Europe.
