New Healthcare Centre Approved for Marbella
Marbella City Council has given the green light for a new healthcare centre in the city. The project, which is expected to cost around €1 million, will provide a much-needed boost to the local healthcare infrastructure.
Details of the New Healthcare Centre
The new healthcare centre will span 400 square metres and will be equipped with state-of-the-art resources and medical staff. The regional government will be responsible for staffing and equipping the centre once construction is complete.
Future Expansion Plans
City councillor Gustavo Adolfo Becquer has revealed that the building will initially consist of a single floor. However, there are plans to add another level in the future, according to a report in the online daily Area Costa del Sol.
Design and Accessibility
The design of the new healthcare centre will be in harmony with the existing infrastructure in the area. The project will also include the construction of new parking areas and access points to improve accessibility.
Long-Awaited Project
Councilor Diego Lopez stated that the new healthcare centre has been a long-awaited project. He emphasized that it is necessary to bring medical treatment closer to local citizens and believes that the new centre will significantly improve the quality and quantity of healthcare services available to users.
Tender Process and Construction Timeline
The council has opened a 30-day tender process for the project. The construction of the new healthcare centre is expected to take around 12 months.
