UK Far-Right Extremist to Face Terror Charges
A far-right extremist from the UK, known for his close ties to Marbella and the Costa Blanca, is set to be extradited to face terror charges in his home country. The 38-year-old man, identified by Spanish police as Christopher TK, is also known among far-right activists as Charlie Big Potatoes or Kris Kearns. The National Court of Spain has approved his extradition, a decision that awaits ratification by the Council of Ministers. If convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison.
Tracking the Extremist’s Movements
The Olive Press has been tracking Kearns for nearly a year, observing his movements between his rented villa in Alfas del Pi, on the Costa Blanca, and various hotels around Marbella. Kearns, a well-known figure among members of the white nationalist group Patriotic Alternative, has reportedly established connections with at least one leading mafia gang based on the Costa del Sol and in Dubai.
Running a Far-Right Fitness Channel
Kearns has been running a Telegram channel called Fascist Fitness, which boasts 1,800 followers. Many of his videos were filmed in Marbella, where he is said to have connections with figures from the now-defunct MTK gym and boxing stable in Puerto Banus. This gym was originally set up by Irish underworld boss Daniel Kinahan, who is currently sought by US authorities.
Links to the Kinahan Clan and Dubai
The Kinahan clan, including Christy Kinahan Snr, Daniel Kinahan, and Christopher Kinahan Jr, have been placed on a US sanctions list due to their Irish mafia connections. Kearns has reportedly visited Dubai recently, further strengthening his ties to the Kinahan clan.
Spreading Hate and Violence
Upon returning to Alfas del Pi on the Costa Blanca, Kearns continued to produce videos for Fascist Fitness. According to UK police, his content primarily aimed to incite hostility against non-white people and encourage violent action against them. He has also been photographed making fascist salutes.
Preparing for a ‘War Between Races’
UK detectives believe Kearns was preparing for a ‘war between races’. He produced a video encouraging English whites to threaten immigrants at mosques and synagogues. He is also accused of posting links to documents that encouraged people to carry out acts of terrorism.
Extradition and Trial
Despite arguments from his solicitor that Kearns should be tried in Spain, the National Court disagreed. However, they stipulated that if he is convicted by a UK court, he should serve his sentence in Spain. His defence maintains that his actions, while objectionable, are protected by freedom of expression.
Far-Right Extremism in Spain
This case follows our report two years ago that far-right extremist Tommy Robinson was living in Marbella. We reported on his plans to permanently move to Gibraltar, highlighting the growing presence of far-right extremism in Spain.
