Arrest of Britain’s Most Wanted Fugitive in Spain
Spanish authorities have confirmed the arrest of Joshua Hendry, one of Britain’s most wanted fugitives. The 30-year-old was apprehended in Marbella’s San Pedro de Alcantara on Thursday. The arrest occurred when police officers noticed a man who matched Hendry’s description while he was out walking a dog.
International Arrest Warrant Against Hendry
Hendry is wanted in Britain on charges of drug trafficking and involvement in a criminal gang based in Liverpool. He is accused of trafficking heroin and crack cocaine from Liverpool to Grimsby for further distribution. Hendry is also alleged to have controlled the phone line used for these operations. His mother and brother have already been convicted as part of this conspiracy.
UK’s Most Wanted List
The arrest of Hendry comes just a day after the UK National Crime Agency and CrimeStoppers, in collaboration with Spanish police, launched a campaign in Madrid to locate Britain’s most wanted fugitives. Hendry is one of the 12 fugitives on Britain’s most-wanted list.
