House Fire in Ojén Results in Seven Injured
Late Tuesday night, a house fire in Ojén, Malaga, resulted in seven people sustaining injuries. The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment, with injuries ranging from smoke inhalation to burns.
Emergency Services Respond to Late Night Blaze
The 112 Andalucía emergency service control room reported that the incident occurred at a property on Calle Fernando Solis around 10.45pm. The alarm was raised by neighbours who noticed smoke and flames emanating from the two-storey building.
Firefighters and Police Rush to the Scene
Firefighters from Marbella were quickly on the scene to tackle the blaze. They were joined by the Local Police and Guardia Civil in their efforts to control the fire and ensure the safety of the residents.
Victims Transported to Costa del Sol Hospital
The 061 ambulance service transferred six men and one woman to the Costa del Sol hospital in Marbella for treatment. The men included three young adults aged 19, and others aged 18, 22 and 54. The woman was 52 years old. Their current conditions have not been reported.
