On Wednesday, 8 November 2023, a fatal traffic accident occurred in Marbella on the Costa del Sol, as reported by 112 Andalucía. The incident, which took place on Tuesday night (7 November), resulted in one death and three injuries of varying severity.
The collision between two cars happened on Bulevar Alfonso de Hohenloe, heading towards Cadiz. Witnesses contacted emergency services shortly after 11pm, requesting immediate medical help for several injured individuals, including one who was unconscious.
In response, the control room dispatched the 061 ambulance service and Local Police. Upon arrival, the emergency teams could only confirm the death of a 72-year-old involved in the accident. The injured parties, two women aged 60 and 61, and a 42-year-old man, were transported to the Costa del Sol Hospital.
The Local Police are currently investigating the incident, and the specific details surrounding the accident have not yet been released.
