Marbella to Launch Winter Swimming Event Next Week
Marbella is set to host its inaugural Winter Crossing “El Cable” next week. The open water swimming event, scheduled for Sunday, March 9, will challenge participants to complete a 2,000-meter course.
Registrations for the Event Already Filled
With just over a week left until the event, all 240 available slots for the competition have already been filled. The first Winter Crossing “El Cable” will take place on the beach of the same name on March 9.
Event Organized by Marbella Swimming Club
The open water swimming event is organized by the Marbella Swimming Club, which has limited the number of entries. The 2,000-meter race will kick off at 11:00 am and has already reached the participant limit set by the organizers.
240 Swimmers to Participate in the Inaugural Winter Crossing
In total, 240 swimmers will participate in this first winter crossing, which can be completed in two categories: with and without a wetsuit.
