Marbella Arena to Host First Padel Masters’ Event of the Year
The Marbella Arena is set to host the first padel Masters’ event of the year from May 31 to June 5. The best padel players will gather at the venue for the much-anticipated tournament. The central court of the arena will be the main stage for all the competitions, with the semi-final scheduled for Saturday, June 4, and the final on Sunday, June 5.
Grandstand and Box Area for Spectators
In a bid to enhance the spectators’ experience, the organisers are setting up a grandstand and a box area. This will allow the audience to witness the action up close. Padel, a sport that enjoys immense popularity in Spain, is making a welcome return with this tournament after a two-year hiatus of public tournaments.
Marbella Arena Group President Welcomes World Padel Tour
Luis Miguel Martín, President of the Marbella Arena Group, expressed his delight at the return of the sport. He highlighted the versatility of the Arena, which is capable of hosting major sporting events like the World Padel Tour. He also expressed his satisfaction that the World Padel Tour circuit has chosen Marbella for its first Masters of the year.
World Padel Tour 2022 to Visit Thirteen Countries
The professional circuit of the World Padel Tour this year is set to visit thirteen countries. These include the United States, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, France, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Argentina, Mexico, and a region in the Middle East.
