Shaje’s journey in the real estate industry began over six years ago in Marbella, where he sold three properties during his first summer. However, he was dissatisfied with the low commission he received.
From Employee to Entrepreneur
When Shaje expressed his disappointment to his boss, he was met with a challenge: ‘If you don’t like it, you can open up your own agency’. Taking this advice to heart, Shaje launched Marbella Estate Group in 2017. Since its inception, the business has seen a tenfold increase in growth.
Expanding the Team and the Business
Marbella Estate Group started with just one employee and has now grown to a team of nine. The firm, based in Marbella, specializes in buying and selling top properties across the Costa del Sol area, with a particular emphasis on Marbella.
Diversifying into Design and Architecture
The company has also broadened its scope by launching Marbella design group, a division that focuses on design and architecture. This move aligns with Shaje’s background, as he studied architecture in Valencia, Spain, after leaving his home country, Sweden.
