On Friday, 29th November, the Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa will host the 24th Business Awards of the Marbella businessowners’ association, CIT. The event will honor business owners, institutions, and those who have made significant contributions to tourism promotion and business innovation.
Announcement of This Year’s Winners
The winners of this year’s awards have been announced, with each being recognized for their pioneering work in their respective fields. The Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá has been awarded for tourism promotion, the Internalia Group for business innovation, and the National Police as an institution.
Christopher Clover: A Prominent Name in Luxury Real Estate
The business owner recognition has been bestowed upon Christopher Clover, a leading figure in Marbella’s luxury real estate sector. Clover is the owner and managing director of Panorama, a family business with a history spanning 120 years. This recognition follows closely on the heels of a special award presented to him by SUR in English at their 40th anniversary gala night in Marbella in October.
Three Generations of Real Estate Expertise
Clover, who hails from a family of real estate agents and entrepreneurs spanning three generations, has been instrumental in maintaining the reputation of Panorama. Born in Charlottesville in 1947, he moved to Spain in 1973 to manage the company’s international office in Marbella, which he now runs with his children, Katinka and Alex.
Marbella Office: A Beacon of Professionalism and Quality
Since its establishment in 1970, the Marbella office has been known for providing professional and quality service in the highly sought-after town of Costa del Sol. At the time, Marbella was emerging as a quality resort, attracting the world’s wealthy and famous. Panorama focused on selling quality developments primarily to Americans.
Contributions to the Local Community
Clover’s contributions extend beyond the real estate sector. He was an active member of the Marbella Rotary Club for 12 years, contributing to the well-being of the local community, reflecting the values of the organization.
