Starlite 2024 Personal Interviews at Marbella’s Congress Palace
The Starlite Occident Festival, set to celebrate its 13th edition in Marbella next summer, has initiated its staff selection process. According to the organizers, they have received over 6,000 applications to fill the 1,000 job positions available. The interviews are being held at the Congress Palace.
Registration Process and Interviews
Following the registration process, which began in mid-April, it is now time for the interviews to hire a thousand workers for Starlite. The interviews will take place at the Congress Palace between Tuesday 7 and Thursday 9, to finalize the selection process.
Job Positions and Requirements
The job positions to be filled span across logistics, catering, ticketing, security, hospitality, commercial area, lounge, and entertainment. They include various professional offers with different roles such as: ticket sellers, ushers, area and bar managers, waiters, tray carriers, runners, reservation staff, hostesses, administrative staff, maintenance personnel, security guards, drivers, parking assistants, logistics coordinators, office staff, cooks, kitchen assistants, store managers, salespeople, and dancers, among others.
Looking for Enthusiastic and Passionate Individuals
“We are looking for people with enthusiasm, passion, who want to become Starliters to live a life experience,” said organizer Sandra García-Sanjuán. “Their job is not just the action of driving someone in a car, serving a drink, or accommodating a customer in their seat, it goes much further,” she detailed. “Their mission is to spread happiness, to ensure that the minutes they share with a customer add magic to their experience and make everyone they interact with feel special, and that is a great responsibility,” she added.
Jobandtalent Platform and Local Employment
In collaboration with the employment platform Jobandtalent, Starlite Occident is scheduling and interviewing candidates at the Marbella Congress Palace to conclude the final selection of future workers. According to the organization, the festival has a percentage of over 90% of employees of local origin, offering contracts of up to five months duration, with a repetition rate of 70%. In total, 6,000 people have registered for the thousand job positions offered.
13th Edition of the Festival
This year’s edition, which is the 13th, will take place from June 14 to August 31, two and a half months.
