On Wednesday, 6th December 2023, renowned Malaga chef Dani García, in collaboration with the Mosh group and supported by the fashion brand Dolce&Gabbana, has curated a special menu to bid adieu to the year. The menu, priced at 780 euros per person, will be served at the opulent Beach Club La Cabane in Marbella. The club is reopening its restaurant doors to celebrate the final night of 2023, marking its first New Year’s Eve menu since its inauguration last summer.
The dinner, leading into the New Year’s Eve celebration, features seven signature dishes and a variety of desserts, showcasing García’s affinity for refined flavours. Patrons will have the opportunity to taste the renowned nitro tomato and smoked eel from García’s two-Michelin-starred Smoked Room restaurant in Madrid.
The menu, priced at 375 euros for children under fourteen, begins with a sampling of García’s petite delicacies. These include Galician clam and Osietra Premium caviar; a crispy tartlet with sea urchin yolk and alder flower; black truffle tart; foie gras and Parmesan yoghurt with port jelly; and caviar with a white asparagus mousse. This is followed by the smoked eel, featuring a white Malaga garlic texture with roasted pepper caramel gel, and the eel garnished with nitro tomato, a specialty of the Malaga chef.
The main course offers a choice between wagyu loin with a Robuchon-style purée and morels in Port cream, or slow-baked hake with white truffle carbonara and gnocchi. The meal is accompanied by exclusive wines, including the Dom Perignon Vintage 2013 Champagne; Spanish wines Tomás Postigo, Verdejo; Roda I, Rioja, and French wines such as Chablis Les Lys and Pauillac de Pichon-Longueville, Bordeaux.
For dessert, diners will enjoy a selection of Dani García’s finest before the traditional twelve grapes at midnight. The New Year’s Eve celebration, running from eight in the evening until four in the morning, will feature a party hosted by the Mosh group, with a line-up of top electronic music DJs from both the national and international scene to usher in 2024.
