Marbella Water Polo Club Shines at Spanish Championship
Patricia López Hidalgo, Lucia González, and Daniel Gálvez, from the Marbella Water Polo Club (CW Marbella), made their mark at the Spanish Children’s Championship of Autonomous Teams held in Madrid last weekend. Patricia López Hidalgo, a player from CW Marbella, clinched a silver medal for Andalusia.

Goalkeeper Patricia López Hidalgo was part of the Andalusian team that achieved the runner-up position. After a strong tournament performance, they defeated Madrid in the semi-finals with a close score of 10-9, advancing to the finals. However, they were defeated by Catalonia with a score of 11-1.
Lucia González’s Role in the Andalusian Team’s Success
Lucia González, the coach from CW Marbella, also participated in the championship as a member of the Andalusian technical team. Her contribution was instrumental in the team’s success and their silver medal win.
Daniel Gálvez’s Fight for Bronze
Daniel Gálvez, another representative from CW Marbella, participated in the men’s Andalusian team. His team fought for the bronze medal but unfortunately lost to the Basque Country with a score of 7-11.
