A 16-year-old boy was apprehended by the police after allegedly leading them on a high-speed chase in a Porsche in San Pedro Alcántara, near Marbella. The incident occurred on Monday, 21 October, when the police first spotted the Porsche Cayenne on Avenida Jorge Guillén around 7.30pm.

Police Pursuit Initiated After Suspicious Behaviour

Upon noticing the police, the young driver reportedly became nervous and attempted to evade them by accelerating. The Ukrainian minor, who was driving without a license, allegedly began to drive recklessly, posing a threat to other motorists and pedestrians. This prompted the officers to call for backup, leading to a pursuit involving multiple police units.

Reckless Driving Through Town Centre

The chase lasted approximately ten minutes, during which the teenager reportedly disregarded traffic signs and made several sudden changes in direction through the town centre. According to police sources, the Porsche Cayenne was finally intercepted on Avenida de la Constitución, where it was caught in a traffic jam.

Teenager Resists Arrest

The young driver, who was unable to communicate in either Spanish or English, allegedly resisted arrest. He reportedly refused to exit the vehicle and once outside, attempted to flee the scene after pushing an officer. However, he was eventually apprehended and taken into custody.
