Marbella RC Secures Runner-Up Position in Andalusian Championship
Marbella Rugby Club’s under-14 team has achieved the runner-up position in the 2024 Andalusian League. The Marbella team traveled to Puerto de Santa María, where they triumphed in the semi-finals against Real Ciencias with a score of 13-10. However, in the final, they faced Club Amigos del Rugby (CAR), who took the victory with a score of 12-3.
Busy Weekend for Marbella RC Teams at Andalusian League Finals
The Marbella team participated in the final phase of the 2024 Andalusian League at the Puerto de Santa María venue. In the semi-finals, Marbella RC Blue faced Real Ciencias in a closely contested match, where the Marbella team emerged victorious with a score of 13-10, securing their place in the final. In the title match, the Marbella team faced Club Amigos del Rugby (CAR). Despite numerous setbacks, Marbella RC gave their all in a final that was ultimately won by the Seville team with a score of 12-3.
Marbella RC White Team Shows Improvement in Andalusian League
Meanwhile, the Marbella RC White team, supported by the under-12s, traveled to Almeria where they faced the Malaga Rugby Club in their first match but were unable to secure a victory. However, in their second match, the Marbella team did manage to claim a win, finishing in ninth position in the Andalusian League, demonstrating significant improvement throughout the season.
Marbella RC Blue Team to Compete in National Championship
The runner-up position of the Blue team will allow them to participate in the National Championship, where they will compete against the best teams in Spain. The tournament will take place in Valladolid on May 11 and 12.
