University Esports and Junior Esports Championships in Spain
The Adolfo Suárez Congress Palace will host the National Grand Final of University Esports and Junior Esports, national video game championships, on April 19, 20, and 21. More than 80 students will participate in this event. The Marbella Gam1ng Days will feature live competitions, meetings with influencers, gaming zones, and educational talks. The event will bring together the best esports players in the academic environment for the grand final of the championship considered Spain’s premier esports competition.
Leading Educational and Technological Projects in Gaming
University Esports and Junior Esports are the main educational and technological projects related to video games in Spain. During the event, both players and attendees will have the opportunity to meet influencers and enjoy the fanzone of the Storm Circuit with activities and prizes revolving around League of Legends and Valorant. Visitors will also have the chance to discover interesting facts about the gaming world and learn about technology through talks and workshops led by experts from Train To Play, specialists in creating healthy habits in the gaming environment and digital security from the National Police.
Finalist Teams of University Esports
University Esports, the largest esports and technology project in the global university environment, is about to conclude its 2023/24 season in Spain. From Friday, April 19 to Saturday, April 20, the students qualified for the National Grand Final will compete for the championship title in four video games: League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and Rocket League.
Junior Esports Finalists
Meanwhile, the finalists of Junior Esports, an educational and technological project involving educational centers across Spain, will compete to be declared winners of the 2023/24 season on Sunday, April 21 in the following titles: League of Legends, Brawl Stars, and Rocket League.

The gaming industry has also seen steady job growth, positioning video games as a significant source of youth employment. In 2022, over 1,500 job offers were created, with 40 percent of employees under 30 years old.
