Marbella Week of Football: A Showcase of Women’s Teams
The city of Marbella is set to host the ‘Marbella Week of Football’ tournament from Thursday, February 22nd to the 28th. This event will feature women’s football teams in two different competitions, including the absolute category and the under-23 category. Among the participating teams are England, the world’s runner-up, and Spain.
Participating Teams in the Absolute Category
In the absolute category of the tournament, teams from England, Italy, Austria, Poland, Denmark, and Switzerland will be participating. These teams will compete against each other in a series of matches throughout the week.
Under-23 Category Teams
In the under-23 category, teams from Spain, England, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden will be present. These young and promising teams will showcase their skills and compete for the championship.
Free Matches at Marbella Football Center
All matches that will be held at the Marbella Football Center will be free of charge. However, matches played at the Nuevo Mirador Stadium in Algeciras will require a paid ticket. This provides an excellent opportunity for football fans to watch exciting matches and support their favorite teams.
