New Additions to the Starlite Festival Lineup in Marbella
Rels B and The Corrs have been announced as the latest additions to the Starlite Festival in Marbella. The Starlite Occident Festival in Marbella continues to add new concerts to its lineup. This Wednesday, three new concerts were announced, each representing a different musical genre. The performances will include Spanish artist Rels B, Irish band The Corrs, and a second date for Pablo López from Malaga following the success of his first performance.
Starlite Festival’s 13th Edition Expands its Lineup
The 13th edition of Starlite at the Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella has added three new performances to an increasingly broad lineup. Rels B, a global reference in urban music, will make his debut on the stage on Thursday, August 22. Emerging from the underground rap scene in Mallorca, an island not previously associated with hip-hop, Rels B, also known as Skinny Flakk, continues to prove himself as one of the most powerful revelations in the international urban scene. With over 20 million monthly listeners, the singer and producer has become one of the most personal and versatile voices.
The Corrs Return to Starlite Occident
The Corrs, Ireland’s most important band, will perform on Wednesday, July 10 at Starlite Occident, where they previously performed in 2016. The group consists of siblings Andrea (lead vocals, piano), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals), and Jim (guitar, piano, vocals). They have captivated the world with a perfect fusion of elegant pop rock, lush harmonies, and Celtic folk accents. Since their debut album “Forgiven Not Forgotten” in 1995, they have sold over 40 million records and won the hearts of people worldwide. Throughout their career, they have received platinum records, BRIT awards, Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations, and the honor of being the only band to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 85th birthday and, more recently, at the Queen’s Jubilee in 2002.
Pablo López Adds a Second Date
The final announcement of the day was Pablo López, who had previously announced a date for July 20, now adds another on August 21. The Starlite Occident 2024 lineup already includes confirmed artists such as Jamie Cullum, Sheryl Crow, Aitana, Vanesa Martín, Myke Towers, Emilia, Camilo, Keane, Julian Marley & The Uprising, Christian Nodal, Take That, Carlos Vives, Gipsy Kings feat. Nicolas Reyes, Pablo López, Simple Minds, Tom Jones, Diana Krall, Luis Miguel, Los Secretos, Antonio José, Hauser, Miguel Poveda, UB40 ft.
