Fashion Designer F de Frank to Open Marbella Fair 2024
Fashion designer F de Frank will be the announcer for the Marbella Fair 2024. After opting for personalities such as Los del Río and José Manuel Soto in the last two years, the Marbella City Council has taken a turn this year and chosen a local announcer for the San Bernabé Fair. The honor has fallen on the renowned fashion designer Francisco Javier Vázquez, professionally known as F de Frank.
Preparations for Marbella Fair 2024 Underway
Preparations for the Marbella Fair 2024 are ongoing, and on Monday, the name of the person chosen to announce the city’s patron saint festivities was revealed. It is Francisco Javier Vázquez, a reputable fashion designer known as F de Frank. In this way, the City Council is shifting from the last two fairs after the pandemic, where they chose personalities with little connection to Marbella.
Previous Announcers and the Return to Local Talent
In 2022, the proclamation was offered by the musical duo Los del Río, while last year, announced before the municipal elections, it was José Manuel Soto, who also charged 9,000 euros. Now, the focus is back on local announcers with the fashion designer F de Frank, who will be responsible for opening the Fair on the night of June 5.
F de Frank’s Career and Contributions to Fashion
Francisco Javier Vázquez began his studies in Málaga and then moved to London to continue his training at Central Saint Martins. He has participated in different fashion shows such as the International Flamenco Fashion Week (SIMOF) last year. He recently featured in the program “Maestros de la costura” on Spanish Television, alongside other Malaga designers. He currently has his atelier in Marbella.
