Neighborhood associations in Marbella will be driving the celebration of the May Crosses, a traditional event held in various districts of the municipality. The festivities will take place between the public holiday on Wednesday, May 1st, and Saturday, May 4th. Participating groups include those from Plaza de Toros, Las Albarizas, Mirador de La Torrecilla, and Vázquez Clavel de El Pilar-Miraflores.
Preserving Traditions and Strengthening Community Bonds
Enrique Rodríguez, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, expressed his gratitude to the neighborhood groups for their commitment and dedication to preserving traditions. He was accompanied by neighborhood representatives Rafael Jiménez (Plaza de Toros), Josefa Carrasco (Las Albarizas), and Francisco González (Vázquez Clavel). Rodríguez emphasized that this celebration is not just about floral decorations, but a deeply rooted expression of their culture.
