Investigation Underway into Marbella Nightclub Brawl
Spain’s National Police are currently investigating a large-scale brawl that took place in a Marbella nightclub’s car park. The incident, which was captured on video and shared on social media, involved a significant number of people, but no one has yet reported any injuries to the police.
Details of the Incident
The brawl occurred at 6.15am on Saturday, 10 August, in the car park of the Olivia Valere nightclub. A call to the 112 Andalucía emergency service described a fight involving up to a hundred people, with bottles, stones, and glasses being used as weapons. One man was reportedly left unconscious on the ground after being struck by a bottle and kicked in the head.
Police Response and Investigation
Several National Police units responded to the scene, but upon arrival, they found only the aftermath of the fight. None of the participants were found, and the injured parties had already left the scene. Given the violent nature of the incident, police have been checking with local hospitals to see if anyone was admitted with injuries related to the fight. An investigation is currently ongoing at the Marbella police station, primarily based on the videos shared on social media.

The Olivia Valere nightclub confirmed the incident and highlighted the efforts of their security staff, comprised of 35 personnel, to intervene and separate the parties involved. They also worked to “contain” the area to ensure the safety of other customers, as seen in the video footage.
