Two Arrested Following Stabbing Incident Outside Marbella Nightclub
On Saturday, 5th October, a man in his 30s was stabbed outside the Kube nightclub in Marbella, leading to the arrest of two individuals. The incident occurred on Calle Rivera, in the Nueva Andalucía area, where the victim was reportedly attacked from behind at the nightclub’s entrance. The man sustained a stab wound to his hip.
Alleged Perpetrators Apprehended Near Crime Scene
The alleged attackers, aged 24 and 19, were apprehended just a few meters away from the scene as they attempted to escape. The two men, who are from the same family, allegedly took advantage of a moment when the victim’s back was turned to carry out the attack amidst a crowd of people.
Previous Clash Leads to Violent Encounter
Sources indicate that the stabbing incident followed a previous altercation between the victim and the arrested men at another nightclub earlier that night. The reason for the initial dispute remains undisclosed. After the initial scuffle, they reportedly encountered each other again at the entrance of the Kube nightclub, where the stabbing took place.
Police Patrol Intercepts Fleeing Suspects
The suspects attempted to flee the scene but were intercepted by a National Police patrol, barely 50 meters from the nightclub. Local Police officers also responded to the incident and located the knife allegedly used in the attack nearby.
Knife Discarded by Unknown Woman
The knife was reportedly discarded onto the road by a woman to whom the alleged perpetrators had handed it. The identity of this woman remains unknown.
Victim Receives Treatment at Local Hospital
The victim was treated at the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella, where he received stitches before being discharged. The condition of the victim post-discharge has not been reported.
