Tragic Morning in Marbella: 19-Year-Old Girl Dies in Road Accident
The day in Marbella began on a sorrowful note as a 19-year-old girl tragically lost her life in a road traffic accident. The unfortunate incident was reported by the 112 emergency service coordination centre and occurred in the early hours of this Tuesday morning, around 2.10am, on the A-7 motorway that stretches across the Costa del Sol.
Details of the Accident
Eyewitnesses who alerted the authorities reported that a car had veered off the road at kilometre 1,043. The Marbella firefighters, Guardia Civil traffic police, and the 061 health emergency services were promptly dispatched to the accident site.
Emergency Response and Casualties
Despite the immediate response from the medical staff, they could only confirm the death of the young victim. Meanwhile, the other two occupants of the vehicle were treated at the scene by paramedics. Fortunately, their injuries were not severe enough to require hospitalization.
