Investigation Underway After Marbella Shooting
National Police officers in Costa del Sol are currently probing into another shooting incident that occurred in Marbella. The victim, a young man, was shot in the Nueva Andalucía area of the town on the night of Saturday, 10th February.
Details of the Incident
The victim, who is of Nordic origin, was shot twice – once in the arm and once in the leg – in the middle of the street around 11pm. He was immediately rushed to the Hospital Costa del Sol in the town. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Emergency Response to the Shooting
The 112 Andalucía emergency service control room was alerted about the shooting, which prompted a swift response from both Local Police and National Police officers, as well as 061 paramedics who rushed to the scene.
Witness Accounts of the Incident
According to witnesses at the scene, two individuals emerged from a car, one of whom shot the victim. The pair then quickly fled the scene in the same vehicle. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the events of the night.
