Eight Arrested in Marbella for Violent Assault and Attempted Kidnapping
Eight individuals have been apprehended by the authorities in connection with a violent assault and attempted abduction of a 29-year-old Romanian man in Marbella. The incident, which occurred approximately two weeks ago, involved the suspects forcibly taking the victim’s phone and attempting to force him into a vehicle.
Details of the Assault
The assault transpired around 7pm in Calle Santa Isabel, San Pedro Alcántara, as the victim was exiting his residence. The victim’s narrative reveals that he was initially attacked by one man, after which a car pulled up and seven more individuals joined in the assault. The group subjected the victim to verbal abuse, threats, and physical violence.
Victim’s Escape and Subsequent Arrests
Despite the violent onslaught, the victim was able to escape before being forced into the car. He sought help from a friend, who then took him to a health centre for treatment of his injuries. Following an investigation by the National Police, the eight suspects, aged between 20 and 40, were arrested.
