Gun Scare Outside School in San Pedro Alcántara
On Monday, 22nd April, an elderly man created a wave of panic outside a school in San Pedro Alcántara, near Marbella, when he allegedly brandished a gun from his Ferrari sports car. The man was reportedly upset about cars double parked outside the school during the early afternoon hours. His actions caused significant alarm among the people in the vicinity, including the school caretaker, who promptly alerted emergency services.
No Shots Fired, No Injuries Reported
Despite the fear and panic, the man did not fire the weapon and no injuries were reported. By the time the Marbella Local Police arrived at the scene, the man had retreated to a nearby house, as per eyewitness accounts.
Police Operation to Locate the Suspect
A joint operation was initiated by the National Police to locate the man. This involved identifying and surrounding the house he had retreated to. The officers, heavily armed and wearing protective gear, approached the situation with caution due to the potential threat posed by the armed man.
Resolution and Ongoing Investigation
After some negotiation, the man agreed to speak with the officers and allowed them into the house. Upon investigation, the police found several weapons in his possession, which were later identified as simulated or compressed air weapons.
