Health Tourism Congress at Fitur
The International Tourism Fair in Madrid (Fitur) was the platform for the presentation of this health-related event, which will take place in Marbella this year. However, the name of the event has not been disclosed yet.
Beneficial Meeting for Participants
Laura de Arce, the general director of the sector, and her counterpart from Unique Marbella Global, Marie Van Der Gucht, who is the organizer of the event, presented the meeting today. Both agreed that it will be a very beneficial encounter for the participants.
Marbella: A Health Tourism Destination
“It is a very important fact that our town has been chosen and it shows the success of the work we have been doing for months to bring it to the city,” said the municipal official. “Marbella is recognized for having been the first city in the world identified as a health tourism destination since the early 70s,” pointed out Van Der Gucht.
Connecting Buyers and Suppliers
She further clarified that “the goal is to connect buyers and suppliers of solutions in the tourism and healthcare markets.” The event has been held since 2006 in various countries around the world, including Germany, Cyprus, the Philippines, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Spain.
