Top Marbella Chef Dani Garcia Offers Luxurious New Year’s Eve Dining Experience
Dani Garcia, a renowned celebrity chef in Spain, is offering a lavish New Year’s Eve dining experience in his hometown of Marbella. Known for his two-starred Michelin restaurant, Smoked Room, in Madrid, Garcia has curated a special menu for the occasion. However, to indulge in this culinary delight, you’ll need to be prepared to splurge as the meal is priced at €780 per person. The venue for this exclusive event is the Beach Club La Cabane in Marbella, which is hosting its first New Year’s Eve menu since its opening in the summer.
Seven Iconic Dishes and a Selection of Desserts
The dinner will feature seven of Garcia’s iconic dishes and a selection of desserts. The chef promises ‘exquisite flavours’ for the evening. Children under 14 years of age are eligible for a €405 discount.
Menu Highlights: From Galician Clam to Wagyu Tenderloin Steak
The menu begins with tasters such as Galician clam and Osietra Premium caviar, a crispy tartlet with hedgehog yolk and alder blossom, a black truffle tart, foie gras and parmesan yoghurt with port jelly, and caviar with white asparagus mousse. Garcia’s famous nitro tomato with smoked eel is one of the starters. The main course includes a wagyu tenderloin steak with a Robuchon-style puree and morels in port cream or a low-temperature hake with white truffle carbonara and gnocchi.
Pairing the Meal with Dom Perignon Vintage Champagne and Fine Wines
To complement the meal, guests can enjoy a Dom Perignon Vintage Champagne from 2013. There will also be a selection of Spanish wines from Tomas Postigo, Verdejo; Roda I, Rioja, and French offerings such as Chablis Les Lys and Pauillac de Pichon-Longueville from Bordeaux.
Desserts and Traditional Eating of Twelve Grapes
The meal concludes with a wide selection of Dani García’s best desserts. As per tradition, guests will eat twelve grapes at midnight to welcome the year 2024.
