Pharmaceutical Company Faes Farma Lends a Hand to Animal Rescue Centre
On 14th December, Faes Farma, a renowned pharmaceutical company, hosted an event where its employees volunteered to refurbish a plot of land for the animals at Triple A animal rescue centre in Marbella. The volunteers were involved in various activities such as setting up games for the animals, cleaning the facilities, painting, and creating a new space suitable for the animals at Triple A.
Supporting Triple A During Challenging Times
The event was aimed at supporting the Association of Friends of Abandoned Animals, also known as Triple A, during a challenging period for the organisation. Faes Farma hopes that initiatives like this will help raise awareness about social causes championed by Triple A and other similar charity organisations. Triple A is a dedicated organisation that provides shelter and care for abandoned animals, having taken in 600 animals, including dogs and cats.
Collaboration with Other Companies for a Noble Cause
The event saw participation from a diverse range of companies that share the same cause as Faes. These included Conformas, Fundación Ly Company, Selym, H10 Croma Málaga, Pinturas Andalucía, La Fábrica Escuela de Hostelería, Copyrap, Mantenturf, Uso Único Profesional, Rocío Navarro Arquitectura, La Suite Comunicación and Ubico Corporate.
Challenges Faced by Triple A
Bettina Pietsch, the head of Triple A, expressed her gratitude for the help received, acknowledging the significant challenges faced by the group. She highlighted that the new animal protection laws implemented by the government are not going to alleviate the increasing rate of homeless animals in Spain, which is one of the highest in the country. She also pointed out that the new legislation escalates the costs of caring for these animals, which she believes will lead to more abandonments.
Faes Farma’s Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
Faes Farma emphasized its commitment to corporate social responsibility through events like this, expressing hope that their actions will inspire others to help abandoned animals.
