International Classical Music Festival to be Held in San Pedro
The Trapiche de Guadaiza Cultural Center in San Pedro Alcántara is set to host the third edition of the International Classical Music Festival this week, from October 26 to 29. The event’s program was unveiled on Tuesday, with tickets for each of the four-day event priced at €10.
Event Presented by Local Cultural and Foreign Resident Advisors
The event was presented today by the General Director of Culture of San Pedro, José Antonio Moreno; the Municipal Advisor of Foreign Residents, Remedios Bocanegra, and the event promoter, Shane O’shea. The festival will kick off with an inaugural concert on Thursday by Among Brass Quintet, who will present a program ranging from Abba to Movie Music.
Collaboration with Local Association and Aim to Create Opportunities
This year, the festival is also collaborating with the local government and the Arts and Culture association, a leading entity on the Costa del Sol. The initiative aims to create opportunities for musicians from Andalusia and other parts of the world.
Program Continues with Trumpet and Piano Recital
The program will continue on Friday, October 27, with a trumpet and piano recital also performed by members of Among Brass Quintet. The festival will proceed on Saturday, October 28, with a clarinet and piano performance by Daniel Ruiz and Oriol Estivill.
Festival Concludes with Piano Spectacle
The festival will conclude on Sunday with a piano spectacle, also led by Daniel Ruiz, where pieces from Beethoven to Chopin will be performed. Tickets, priced at €10, can be purchased at the cultural center before each concert.
