Omar N.G, an accomplice of the infamous Spanish thief El Niño Sáez, has been apprehended in relation to an attempted murder case involving a nightclub bouncer in Marbella. The arrest took place in Melun, France, where Omar had been evading law enforcement since 2012 following the attempted murder of the bouncer.
Investigators regard Omar as a skilled safe-cracker associated with the Niño Sáez gang. The National Police revealed that there were 13 outstanding arrest warrants for the suspect, including the alleged attempted murder in Marbella in 2012. Murder Attempt on Marbella Nightclub Doorman
The accused reportedly drove past the nightclub where the bouncer was on duty and shot at him after being denied entry. The weapon used was allegedly equipped with a silencer. The victim was critically injured and immediately taken to the hospital.
The accused is believed to have collaborated with another individual known to the police, Álex di Francesco. Together, they allegedly formed a gang that specialized in robbing businesses. They would often pose as telephone technicians to gain access to safes. Both are thought to be successors of a renowned “alunicero” who passed away a few years ago, according to the police.
