Discovery of Mutilated Body Parts on Spanish Beach

In a shocking turn of events, the hands of a Colombian woman, brutally murdered and decapitated two weeks ago, have been discovered. The gruesome find was made by a man walking along the beach near Cabopino, Spain, on Tuesday, January 17. The location is barely a kilometre from where the woman’s body was initially found. The man promptly alerted emergency services at 3:17pm, who then passed on the information to the National Police.

Police Unearth Second Hand

Following the initial discovery, police officers conducted a thorough search of the area and found a second hand. Both hands had washed up on the beach. The victim, identified as Natalia, 46, was murdered on January 8 by her ex-boyfriend. Her hands and head were severed and the remains were discarded into the sea.

Forensic Examination Confirms Identity

A forensic examination was carried out by the National Police’s Scientific Police, confirming that the hands indeed belonged to Natalia. Her ex-partner, Leonel, 45, confessed last week to dismembering her and disposing of her remains into the sea. He was taken to the beach by the National Police, where he graphically described how he disposed of her body.

Search for Severed Head Continues

The Civil Guard’s Grupo Especial de Actividades Subacuáticas (GEAS) has been tirelessly searching for the severed head along several miles of the Marbella coastline for the past several days. However, the search has been hindered by the stormy weather and difficult conditions. Submariners are focusing their efforts closer to the shoreline, but so far, they have not been successful.

Marbella City Council to Cover Funeral Costs

The Marbella City Council has agreed to cover the cost of Natalia’s funeral. The family has expressed their wish for Natalia to be laid to rest in Marbella, the city where she resided. The investigation into this horrific crime is being led by a judge specialising in Violence Against Women in Marbella.
