Extraordinary Procession of the Lord of Mercy in Marbella
The Pollinica Brotherhood of Marbella, which was unable to parade last Palm Sunday due to rain, was able to carry out the extraordinary procession of Our Father Jesus of Mercy through the city streets this afternoon. This event marks the conclusion of the activities for the 25th anniversary of the blessing of their new image.
Long-Awaited Event Amidst a Rainy Holy Week
The Pollinica Brotherhood was unable to enjoy the Holy Week, which was marked by rain from the very beginning. Therefore, there was a great anticipation for the event that took place this Sunday afternoon.
Procession of the Lord of Mercy Begins
The procession of the Lord of Mercy began at 5:00 pm from the parish of the Incarnation, where all the worship in his honor was presided over, and ended at the Chapel of San Juan de Dios.
Route of the Procession
The journey was accompanied by the Musical Group Jesus Captive of Estepona. The procession started from the Jubilee Door of the temple and headed towards Carmen Street to Los Naranjos Square. The procession then moved south to meet at the Chapel of Santiago.
Continuation of the Procession
The procession continued through Estación Street, Victoria Square, and Pedraza Street until it reached Ramón y Cajal. It then quickly ascended Africa Street towards the square of the same name. Through Francisco Echamendi Street, the procession reached José Palomo Square and finally arrived at the Chapel of San Juan de Dios.

This event marked the grand finale of the activities for the 25th anniversary of the blessing of the new image of the Lord of Mercy.
