New Edition of “A Fondo” Roundtable Discussion

The participants of the new edition of the roundtable discussion “A Fondo” will gather this Monday night on local television channels M95TV and 7TV. They will bravely tackle the most current issues in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara.

Topics to be Discussed

This time, they will discuss topics such as the purchase of serological tests during the pandemic by the City Council and the senior residence, among others. This audiovisual project was born in 2022 from the collaboration between two television stations, M95TV and 7TV, and the digital platforms Marbella Hoy and Marbella24horas.

Objective of the Roundtable Discussion

The goal is to analyze every Monday, with the presence of different participants and in a brave and critical manner, the political, economic, social, and cultural current affairs of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara.

This Week’s Participants

This week’s edition, moderated by Ignacio Reyes, will feature a team of participants composed of activist Carmen Varo, lawyers Julia Mediavilla and José Cosín, and journalist Juan Carlos Angulo. The debate can be followed this Monday from 21:00 hours on 7TV and from 22:30 hours on M95TV. It will also be available on the YouTube channel of Marbella24horas.

Program Highlights

The program will kick off with the events of the 28-F, Andalusia Day, such as the awarding of the City Medal and the Andalusia Sports Medal to Sarah Almagro. Afterwards, the purchase of medical supplies by the Marbella City Council during the pandemic will be discussed. Specifically, the 8,000 serological tests that were purchased from Helicópteros Sanitarios, a company that sponsors the race car of the mayor’s son.

Further Discussions

There will also be time to analyze the situation of the Costa del Sol Hospital and its ranking among the best in Spain according to Newsweek magazine. Following this, a block will be dedicated to debate about the City Council’s projects: the senior residence, Camino de los Pescadores, and Marbella Lighthouse.
