Marbella City Council Launches Tender for Artificial Turf Replacement at Luis Teruel Football Field
The Marbella City Council has initiated a tender process to hire a company to replace the artificial turf at the Luis Teruel football field, located at the Arroyo Primero sports complex. The project is estimated to cost over 600,000 euros and is expected to be completed within a two-month timeframe.
Artificial Turf Replacement also Planned for Jesús Cortés “Pori” Field
In addition to the Luis Teruel field, the artificial turf at the Jesús Cortés “Pori” field is also set to be replaced. The public tender has just been launched, with a deadline for bid submissions set for March 18.
Primary Goal: Replacing Deteriorated Artificial Turf at Luis Teruel Aguilar Football Field
The main objective of this project is to replace the artificial turf at the Luis Teruel Aguilar football field, which has been in poor condition for several years and has been in need of replacement. The tender for this project is valued at 638,004.58 euros, with a projected completion period of two months, and the work is expected to be carried out during the summer.
Facility Used by Many Teams, Including Marbella FC
The facility is used by many teams, including Marbella FC and its youth team in the Honor Division, the highest national category. Along with the synthetic grass replacement, the project also includes other improvements such as the replacement of ball stop nets.
New Goals and Electronic Scoreboard to be Installed
New goals for both 11-a-side and 7-a-side football will be installed, along with an electronic scoreboard on the north side. Additionally, the eastern part of the facility will be expanded to provide a warm-up area for players through an outdoor esplanade.
Tender Launched in Conjunction with Another for Jesús Cortés “Pori” Field
This tender has been launched in conjunction with another advanced one for the replacement of the artificial turf at the Jesús Cortés “Pori” field, located at the Antonio Serrano Lima sports complex. This is another much-needed project that has been delayed for several years, with a budget of 634,870.37 euros allocated for it.
