Marbella Father Arrested for Child Neglect After Baby Daughter Overdoses on Cannabis Smoke
In a shocking incident, a 42-year-old father from Marbella has been arrested on charges of child neglect. The arrest came after his 11-month-old daughter nearly lost her life due to an overdose of cannabis smoke. The baby girl was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition after she turned blue and remained unresponsive for several hours.
Baby Diagnosed with Cyanosis, Father Arrested
Upon examination, the attending paediatrician diagnosed the baby with cyanosis, a condition characterized by a lack of oxygen. The doctor suspected that drugs might be the cause of the baby’s condition. The police at the hospital were quick to confirm that the baby had been exposed to the father’s narcotics, leading to his immediate arrest.
Mother of the Child Also Arrested, Baby Recovers
In a further development, the mother of the child was also arrested. Meanwhile, the baby girl, who has since recovered from the ordeal, is awaiting discharge from the hospital.
