Marbella Launches Campaign Aimed at Schoolchildren
The Trade Delegation of the Marbella City Council has announced the launch of a campaign titled ‘Discover the Old Town of Marbella’. The campaign, which is set to begin on May 6, is primarily aimed at sixth-grade students from educational centers across the city.
Interactive Exploration of Marbella’s Old Town
As part of the campaign, the students will embark on a guided tour of the Old Town, exploring its most iconic locations through the city’s ‘Treasure Hunt’ app. This initiative is funded by the Major Cities Tourism Plan and aims to bring the Old Town closer to the city’s active participation centers during the same period, albeit on different days and times.
Joint Effort to Promote Marbella’s Heritage
This campaign is a joint effort by the city’s Education and Social Rights departments. It is part of a broader initiative aimed at promoting the Old Town among citizens through various activities that highlight its value.
Encouraging Residents to Promote the City
The campaign also seeks to ensure that local residents are well-informed and knowledgeable about the Old Town, so they can effectively promote it to visitors. This is part of a broader strategy to boost tourism and appreciation for the city’s rich history and cultural heritage.
